This game should not be listed as free as it is one of the biggest Pay2Wins out there, if you don't spend a fortune on levelling up cards then you will get to 5000 trophies and get no further unless you start to spend money, I had so much fun getting there but again another wrecked experience due to people gaining a competitive advantage by paying for it, strategy gone, devs just want money, money, money yet again, will be uninstalling...

This game is actually a decent game. But the thing is, you go on a win streak and your doing so good and then you get beat by someone with way over leveled cards or a completely unfair deck. I was about to pass my arena that I have been on forever but then I got beat when I was like 1 win away. Also it takes way too long to deploy cards sometimes and I think that needs to be fixed a bit.

Don't get me wrong, I like this game, it's fun and competitive against my friends. The reason I rate this 2 stars is because it's very hard to have fun if everyone that plays the game is a total sweaty tryhard.plz find a way to separate the tryhards and the people who want to have fun.

Honestly, I've been playing this game for 5 years now and its never been this pay to win, the update with the new champions has made this game so p2w... the game is really fun, but whoever spends a bit of money gets such a high advantage then all of the other players who don't spend money

Excellent Game in my opinion don't hesitate to download it you just have to have some patience to gain skills at the game then you can start enjoying it, don't expect to be good without practice, otherwise you will feel that the game is one sided and unfair.

I have been playing for YEARS and I am still not lvl 13. Recently they have added level 14 as the new cap. This would not be so much of an issues (as the game is free to play) if the matchmaking put you against players that have similar level cards as you. My average card level is between 11 and 12 yet I play agaisnt maxed out, gold skinned players (who clearly are not as experienced) and stand very little chance to win as a result of pay-to-win and not as a result of skill. Completely unfair.

The game is fun and makes you use alot a brain skills in order to climb in ranks but thats how most games should be, you use your knowledge of what you are playing and figure out the best way to use that knowledge to your advantage. I only wish the developers made it so players can type their responses rather than just use the 6 phrases they give you.

For those who think the game caters to noob wallets, you are correct. I have a few times tried a brand new fresh account to see how far you can get with buying the season pass. Over 4000 trophies in 24 hours and no im not joking and yes i played nonstop just to see if it was possible. What actually took skill and time to accomplish is now nothing to get to. They got our veteran money already so the jokes on us.

This is a really fun game but it is extremely RNG and PAY TO WIN. Everything is set up to allow for players that pay to instantly be at an advantage. All the cards are randomized as well, so just because you're in the same division as your opponent, doesn't mean you are equipped to perform as well as them. Also, if someone from a higher division drops down to your's, they can still use cards that you don't even have access to, causing you to lose trophies, which prevents you from progressing.

Great game. I love the way there has been ways to help new players improve, with magic items, and king level road. I have played this game for a while, and have enjoyed it ever since.

The game is really fun never encountered a bug every thing is fine but the reason why I give it 4 stars is because every time I battle I always have to battle people a higher level than me and they have better cards

Loved it ever since release. My only ever issue was that when I would attempt to reach a new arena I would be up against someone who had much better cards and obviously has played the game enough to understand tactics otherwise its a beautiful game.

The big negative that finally made me stop playing at about 6400 trophies and 5 years, is the incredibly boring meta. Out of 20 games, 19 decks will be the same ones copied from webpages, no one try their own strategy and you WILL face the same few combos over and oooover. Some decks just have one attack card and the rest def, making it incredibly drawn out and predictible facing those. Others just have a niche powerful combo making it very hard if you don't happen to have the right counter.

I've been playing this game for a few years. When I feel any stress in my life, I play this game to help relieve that stress. My only complaint about the game is when I have slow internet speed, there is a lag in placing my cards onto the battle field.

From 5 to 3 stars. The latest level cap update should've been announced before so we wouldnt have wasted gold on upgrading less useful cards. You know how long it took to get max level cards? Ffs the lv14 itself is not bad but without warning makes it feel like a massive cash grab because we need a couple of millions more gold!! Not gonna happen

Pay to win. Sometimes it even seems like certain players get double the amount of potion. I've rewatched some games and there is absolutely no way the opponents have that much potion. 3 balloons at once? With an electro giant all within 30 seconds and they are an entire level under me?... no. Just no.

In the early arenas, I see little to no problems, However in builder's workshop, the balloon card is introduced. It isn't a big problem in this arena, fir it's a low level, however in Royal Aren and frozen peak, I get paired against people who have level 9 and 10 balloons. This instantly wipes out one of the three towers, and then the opponent just defends the bridge. Having a counter to this card has no use, because the enemy most likely has a deck to defend the balloon. I can not advance more

When u start playing it is pretty ez u get the hang of things and then when u get into higher ranks, people start using real decks, not just made up ones that u make... After a while u get to the end of an arena and then u start think, yes next arena coming up. Then before u know it ur falling hundreds of trophies back down to the start of the arena ur in. The reason is bc of the match making. They say it's based on card lvls or it's based on what lvl ur on... Well it's not. Internet issues to.

Its a great time waster and such creative cards but the match making can be terrible at time sometimes the opponent is way overleveled or they have cards that you can't get in a lower arena their a re also a bunch of other problems.

Alot of reviews say: "unfriendly to new players" "broken metas" personally. I disagree with both. If you are smart enough, you can win alot and get ahead really early. Clans also makes your experience go even smoother since you got donations and clan wars. There are no "broken metas" just make a good setup. You wont win all the time. The match making is trash and the game is (kinda) p2w atm. But otherwise than that, its good.

I played a lot years ago and I thought it was a great game, but returning after so long I found the same problems that made me uninstall it, new unbalanced cards that do not take into account the dynamics with existing decks, more levels and total amount of cards without an increase to the gold obtained without paying, along with other new issues, such as players with cards at the maximum level and king level 10/11 making matches that should be fair and challenging, frustrating and boring to play against.

Definitely a fun and popular game, but mine, and many people's experiences suck. Here's why; Basically every troop is unbalanced, and if you don't use a spammy, evil, and just op deck, you lose. Some people are just 3+ levels above you and you have no chance of winning. Some people just have cards that are in 2 arenas above you when they can't even trade yet, others just have a deck that perfectly counters yours. The people who designed these op troops are soulless. This game is very frustrating

I like this game because it doesn't really have ads and it's a really fun game to play with your friends and could join other peoples Clans or you could join your friends clans and battle with them and you could one-v-one with him

I find it as a fun game to play casually or maybe competitively. It has it's times making you mad with how sometimes it seems the other opponent t is getting elixir much faster and maybe a few other things. Other than that it's a pretty good game. Though I did come across someone who had the Hunter from arena 10 and I'm in arena 3 or 4.

The community is toxic. Card balance is so bad that it makes the game not enjoyable and I haven't talked about the fact that you can find level 10 player with level 12 card indicating that he/she is pay to win player. 2 stars because atleast there aren't any ads.

A great game but one major flaw. When loading into a match you can get stuck at 81%. By the time you load in your opponent has been playing for maybe 15-20 secs, which provides a massive advantage to them. Its almost always a guaranteed loss. It wouldnt be hard to fix, just make it so both players cant play until both of them have loaded into the match.

Very fun and challenging strategy game. Honestly, my only gripe is some Arena's being way to hard, but as long as you strategise well enough you'll do just fine

Love this game. Things that need improved but overall hands down better than most games in this genre and should have a much higher rating than 4.2 stars. A good way to pay to play if you don't want to pay out of your own pocket, is to use google rewards and do surveys to earn money for the pass royale.
